The Downton Memorial Centre

This is a versatile venue, with Wi-Fi throughout, that can accommodate a great variety of events and groups of people.

It consists of the original large hall plus a new extension comprising two modern meeting rooms and a small office upstairs (all for hire) and the pre-school downstairs.


The Bonvalot Room

One of two new meeting rooms with AV equipment, seating up to 60 people suitable for away days, workshops, AGMs, community activities, adult learning classes and health & wellbeing sessions.

The Hall with Stage and Kitchen

The original hall, with its large stage, kitchen and dining area, is suitable for a variety of events including sales, parties, exhibitions, fund raising events, plays, fitness and other group activities.

Seating up to 40 people, this smaller room has similar uses to the Bonvalot room.
